Steve Englebright has worked to improve our quality of life on Long Island for over thirty years. In the General Assembly, Steve worked with Republicans and Democrats to fund law enforcement, cut taxes for the middle class and protect our air and water.
As our Assemblyman, Steve looked out for Long Island by:

- Sponsoring a constitutional amendment to create a right to clean air and water

- Securing $3.7 million for a National Cancer Institute.

- Demanding tougher reforms to the bail law
- Supporting legislation that would help keep guns out of the hands of dangerous individuals
- Supporting $500 million additional funds for law enforcement.
